Stuart MacMillan is an award-winning independent consultant, and having recently joined the ranks of Certified Healthcare CIO is leading the Scan4Safety Programme across the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT), a collaborative of 6 acute Trusts with a shared vision to provide the best patient outcomes through innovation. Stuart is a huge advocate of standards & digital in healthcare and has over 12 years of experience in the NHS, most recently leading Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust through a successful implementation of GS1standards, bringing about improved patient safety, reduced wastage and substantial financial savings.
