Omnicell eMAR can now integrate with care planning software, Nourish Care

Bringing digital care planning and medicine management together.

Managing and monitoring resident’s medication regimes effectively can significantly impact the delivery and quality of care. Care planning and medication administration systems are often managed completely separately and this can contribute to failings in support of residents’ care. Last year a national report found1 that care home residents did not receive the correct support with their medication in line with care plans. It is likely a range of disparate systems for medication administration and care planning are contributing towards the problem.

This new integration means that Omnicell eMAR can now share data related to medication with the Nourish Care system, making processes simpler and more efficient for staff and safer for residents. Information can be used by staff to deliver better health outcomes for residents.
